Oserezan and Dewa Sanzan in the Fall?

I'm planning a trip and would like to visit both Dewa Sanzan (all three temples) and Oserezan Bodai-Ji. I am wondering if anyone knows the dates for the Aki Mairi for 2016? It appears that the festival often occurs in October and I am under the impression that the high peaks of Dewa Senzan will be closed by early October. The information is not clear whether Gassan closes in September or November. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
