Fall Weather

hi there,

So I will be visiting Tokyo from 13th-26th November 2016, I would like to know from other people experience how is the weather during the fall period(November) and do I pack warm clothes or may I pack sort of summery clothes, not really sure what to pack.

And what sort of weather can I expect during the November Period(Sunny? Rain?)

Please help, your comments will be appreciated.

Cool, but not cold. You won't need a heavy jacket.

Been searching online for many things which helps allot.

Just nice to get personal opinions on people that have experienced Fall in Japan and the weather.

Some years it's warm, some years it's cold. Some years it rains, some years it doesn't. It's weather. It changes. The best you can do is check the averages and plan for a range. You can also just buy clothes here if you forget something or you feel cold and want a jacket or something.

but unfortunately my budget wont allow me to randomly buy clothes etc, so ill have to pack accordingly.

I found temperatures to be around 20 degrees Celsius when I was there that time of year. It also depends how you handle cool weather - for me, I want long sleeves at 20 degrees, but others will wear T-shirts.

Remember that if worse comes to worst, you can always buy whatever you need!

I am also making plans for same dates. Tokyo and Kyoto.
For safe side will take a jacket and an umbrella.

For Tokyo, probably not cold, but cooler overnight. Much greater day/night difference than the other autumn months as it heads towards winter.

Layers, and a waterproof jacket.

As for buying clothes...don't dismiss this idea. Uniqlo, for instance, can be invaluable for a cheap fleece.

2015 Nov was comfortable days most.
(some days a bit "cool" not cold/under 10C but depends on yr country)
No strong rain,no tyhoon(basically tyhoon season already overed) and no strong winds(over 10m/s).
