Best transfer station - Takasago or Aoto? 2016/8/6 14:04
I will be using the Sky Access Line for the first time from Narita International Terminal 2 to Anamori-Inari (2 stops before Haneda International Terminal). I intend to use the Narita Sky Access Express and change to the Oshiage/Asakusa/Keikyu lines at either Takasago or Aoto. Which station is the easiest to transfer at – that is, the station where I can cross the platform and donft have to use stairs or elevators? Is this possible at Takasago or Aoto?

I have read several posts that state itfs possible to take a direct train from Narita to Haneda (no transfers). However Hyperdia has never given me this option and Keisei website shows very few direct(?) services. I arrive at Narita 5pm on a Saturday evening.

When will you travel?

from Narita International Terminal 2 to Anamori-Inari
change to the Oshiage/Asakusa/Keikyu lines at either Takasago or Aoto.

In the both (Keisei) Takasago and Aoto Stations,
you can make a transfer at one same platform,
getting off a train which has come from NRT
then getting on a train which goes beyond Oshiage for HND.

The first train may make a very short stop at these two stations, so please get prepared early to disembark.
Your first and second trains will use maybe one same track, maybe two tracks beside the platform.
(In the former case, you will not have to even "cross" the platform.)

The two tracks are closer in (Keisei) Takasago Station, more apart in Aoto Station.
(It appears the reverse in the station maps offered by Keisei.)

: Aoto Station

For the name "Keisei Takasago" Station, "Keisei" is often omitted.

There are some trains starting from Aoto Station, but it seems you will not need to take one, according to the current timetables.

I will be using the Sky Access Line

Alternatively you can use the Keisei Main Line to get to (Keisei) Takasago Station.

In the Keisei station in NRT Terminal 2, you pass through just the entrance gate to use the Narita SKY ACCESS Line, also the intermediate gate to use the Keisei Main Line.

I arrive at Narita 5pm on a Saturday evening.

Well, then probably you will not encounter a rush of home-bound commuters because the day will be a Saturday.
(Keisei trains carry many commuting workers and students.)

What you will do on the way is simple, but it may look complicated due to names of the lines and of the train services.

Narita SKY ACCESS is the line connecting Narita Airport Station (of Keisei in NRT Terminal 1) and Keisei Takasago Station.

Access Express is a train service; Access Express trains run by not only the Narita SKY ACCESS Line but also one other line.
("Narita Sky Access Express" train does not exist.)

From (Keisei) Takasago or Aoto Station, you can take a train for Haneda Airport (Domestic Terminal), which runs by Keisei lines, the Toei Subway Asakusa Line and Keikyu lines.
Names of train services for such a through train are given separately by operators.
So, for example, a Keisei "Local" train may become a Toei "Express" train in Oshiage then become a Keikyu "Airport Express" train in Sengakuji, while it is practically one same train.

Keisei lines: Keisei Takasago -- Aoto -- Oshiage.
Toei Subway Asakusa Line: Oshiage -- Sengakuji.
Keikyu lines: Sengakuji -- Keikyu Kamata -- Haneda Airport Domestic Terminal.

I have read several posts that state itfs possible to take a direct train from Narita to Haneda (no transfers).

That depends on time zones and days.
Currently there are no such direct trains to depart after 17:30 on Saturdays from the Keisei stations in NRT.

Anamori-Inari (2 stops before Haneda International Terminal).

Some Keikyu trains skip Anamori-inari Station.
According to the current timetables, you highly likely can catch a through train which is to make a stop at Anamori-inari Station.
In case the operation of Keikyu trains happens to be delayed much, please check train types when you get to Sengakuji Station.
