Hi,
I'm hoping to go and see keirin in Nara on 8th September, however I can't work out what time it starts.... is it an evening event or day time?
Thanks

I was misreading the context of the Keirin Schedule. As the schedule for the FII race for September 8 shows, it will be held in the daytime between 10:30 and 17:00. You may distinguish the difference of attached marks of the blue star, black star, heart and sun. Since FII for September 8th has no attached mark, it will be held on regular hours between 10:30 and 17;00. http://keirin.jp/i/dfw/dataplaza/guest/racecalendar?NEN=2016&MON=09

Update yet wait some days. http://www.narakeirin.jp/race_info/detail.php?race_id=1069Click 出走表(race time table) button of 初日(first day). http://www.narakeirin.jp/race_info/image/btn_race_detail_odds.gifThis is last year's Sep. http://keirin.jp/pc/dfw/dataplaza/guest/racelist?KCD=53&KBI=20150908No "night race" info so maybe same as daytime race. Results of last year's same date. http://keirin.jp/pc/dfw/dataplaza/guest/paymentlist?KCD=53&KBI=2015090...Some races outed "万車券(man-sha-ken)" over 10,000Y win ticket means x100 times return against 100Y. (100Y x 100 = 10,000Y) So if you bet 1,000Y will be 100,000Y you get bet 10,000Y you get a million 1,000,000Y. If "horce race" calling "万馬券(man-ba-ken)". If "boat race" calling "万舟券(man-shuu-ken)". 万 means "10,000". (include "Yen" in this case) 車 means "bicycle" in this case. (as "vehicle") 馬 means "horse". 舟 means "boat" 券 means "ticket". Over 100,000 win ticket is "10万●券(juu-man-●-ken)" x1,000 times. Over 1,000,000 win is "100万●券(hyaku-man-●-ken)" x10,000 times. (maybe already know...)

Thanks for your help!! Very useful.
One more question.... For keirin, do you need to arrive at the start and stay all day? Or can you arrive at any time and leave at any time?
Also do you need to pay to get in?
ありがとうございます!

You can enter and get out any time during race-day. Regarding admission fee, you don't have to pay at Nara Keirin.
