Reports avarage Sakura blooming 2016/9/3 21:27
Hi,
Can someone recommend anywhere I can see past year avarage blooming dates of sakura around Japan?

I know there are past reports on blooming but as far as I understand they do not point out "start" and "end" date and so on... And other than that I can only find forecasts...

And yes, I have already googled.

They do actually. read the reports of the places you want to visit. Usually the writer would talk about the blooming condition on that day.

I believe japan guide have at least 4-5 years of reports on popular sakura viewing sites.

Japan Guide as mentioned, but the "official forecast" is for one type of cherry. There are more than 600 varieties and they bloom at different times (including autumn and winter).

I collected some of the various sources into a page at http://japancustomtours.co.nz/sakuraforecast.htm to help illustrate some of the differences and the length of the season.
