Wifi in japan

Hi,
I am going to live with my Japanese friend in Tokyo for my 3 month Japanese studying course and
We are renting an apartment together
Since I am a foreigner I need wifi connection for my
Laptop and other electronics
How difficult is it to install a wifi in an apartment
How much will it cost?
Also my Japanese friend doesn't really use wifi
So how difficult would it be to obtain it ?

Its not difficult at all, but for such a short period of time you are probably best off renting a pocket wifi and using that for your internet needs.

I mostly need for leptop so I prefer a fast internet

"Wi-Fi" refers to a wireless setup for your existing Internet service. Kindly clarify if your friend actually has the net at the apartment home.

No he doesn't, he never used wifi to his apartment before
But he did once had wire line will that help me?

Again, I sense a basic misunderstanding. Does your friend receive an Internet bill (other than his mobile phone plan)?

If your friend has the net at home, you could just bring a wireless router and hook it up to his modem. It's probably cheaper to buy one at home and bring to Japan.

In Japan this type is not calling Wi-Fi "Mobile Rooter" usual.

I am often in Japan.Every year i had a lot of business trips in this country.And i think there is one of the best wifi.You can be calm about this
