Noboribetsu shuttle to hidden springs?

Hi

I want to bring my aged parents to see the river foot bath and the big pond, Would like to know if there are shuttle buses going there and the boiling mud thingy at the end of the road? Last I was there, the road was closed from the bus parking lot area near the souvenir shop.

I Was there in early April, about 4-5 pm.

I found the pond and the river foot bath by accident when i was following the trails from the touristy area. The journey wasnt easy
though, had to do alot of climbing and descending, and there were ice snow covering the floor. Figured taking my parents to that path would be a bad idea.

you have to be more specific. perhaps the name of the lake and footbaths?
If is Kuttaro lake, then you need a rental car or taxi and there are no shuttle buses as far as i am aware.
If Jigokudani, then its fifteen minutes or less by feet from nearly every hotel in the area.
