November weather

I am planning to go to Takayama, shirakwago and Kanazawa in early November. Would it be a good time to go at that time? Please advise . Thanks

Takayama, shirakwago are "Gifu", Kanazawa is "Ishikawa" Prefecture.

Well, it may or may not snow. It wouldn't be autumn, unless you are in early November then you might get to see the tail end of it.
What do you consider unpleasant weather/climate?

Many may disagree with me, but I find November is a good time to visit Japan. Weather is pleasant, scenery could be beautiful as timing for koyo could not be more perfect in many parts of Japan.
