Tokyo Metro 72hour pass a good idea? 2016/9/20 12:27
I'll be visiting tokyo for the first time, and all alone. Im trying to figure out how the save on transportation. I'll be there for 8 days planning to get 3 tokyometro 72 hour pass. Is it a good idea? Here's some of the places im planning to go shinjuku, shibuya, harujiku, yoyogi park mitaka disneyland etc. i've check the station it is limited though. So what im planing is to get a pasmo along with pass. Sample plan going to studio ghibli musuem: i'll take tokyometro from shinjuku to ogikubo station then the jr chuo untila mitaka using pasmo. Is it a cheap way to go around tokyo? Thanks

It can be a money-saver, but it depends on your itinerary. You'll need to figure out what you want to do day-by-day, and if you can get everywhere by Tokyo Metro. Add up the fares and see if the pass is cost-effective. Tokyo Metro doesn't go everywhere, though.

PASS name is wrong.
"Tokyo Subway Ticket" NOT "Tokyo Metro".
http://www.tokyometro.jp/en/ticket/value/travel/
This "Subway" means two different subway(underground sections mainly) companies "Tokyo Metro" and "Toei".
The PASS valid for both lines all.

So list up all spots first.
Open the PASS validity map with Google map and each access info.
Also depends on Hotel location.

In Tokyo Railway companies are NOT only subway.
