Shortest walk to Nihon Minkaen 2016/9/25 18:15
I read that Nihon Minkaen Open Air Museum is a 15 minute walk from Mukogaoka Yuen Station. It's pretty far to walk especially for my 80 year old mother. Is there a bus I can take from the station? Are there taxis at the station? If so, will it be expensive? Hope someone can give suggestions on how to reach there with minimal walking distance.

Taxi fare is seems to \ 800 ~ \ 820 (about 10 minutes).
Mukogaoka yuen station south exit of the taxi stand is very convenient.
By the way, stairs There are quite Among the Nihon Minka-en.
It seems there is a slope in the many homes.
Because the movable, please talk to the person in charge.
Usually it does not put the car in the Ikuta ryokuchi.
A 3-minute walk from the entrance of the Ikuta ryokuchi to the Nihon Minka-en.
If the consultation in advance, it seems that can also be able to enter by car to Yamashita(guchi) exit and the Okumon gate.
Perhaps there is only contact means phone or fax.

Thanks haro1210 for your reply.
Just want to confirm what you advised - the taxi can drop us at the entrance of Ikuta ryokuchi and we walk about 3 mins to the entrance of Nihon Minkaen Museum. Is that right?
Besides taking a taxi, are there any buses from the Mukogaoka Yuen Station to Nihon Minkaen or Ikuta ryokuchi? Cos there are 5 of us.
