Suica Card or 1-Day pass in Kyoto

I came across a Kyoto 1 Day Unlimited pass for the city buses and subway, costing Y1200. Does this pass allow access to ANY bus/subways?
I plan to purchase a Suica while in Osaka. Wondering in which area can i use Suica in Kyoto?
Is it advisable to purchase 1 day pass or might as use the Suica card?
Planning to have a day trip in Kyoto and visit these places:
- Fushimi Inari Shrine
- Arashiyama
- Kiyomizudera Temple.
- Gion
Any advice from anyone out there is greatly appreciated
