Hi everybody. I want to go to Hakone on October 8th, play around and sleep there. Next day go to Yamanako and Kawaguchi Lake. But I can't find any public transit to go there. Anyone has experiences like this please give me some advice. Thank you.

Hi, you would need to make a transfer at Gotemba. First, depending on where you are staying in the Hakone area, you take a Hakone Tozan bus to Gotemba (either go straight to Gotemba Sta., or take a bus headed for Gotemba Premium Outlets, and from there get to Gotemba Sta. by frequent (free, I think) shuttle buses. Route map: (buses usually going 1-2x/hour) http://www.hakone-tozanbus.co.jp/english/pdf/access.pdfFrom Gotemba Sta,there are Fujikyu buses (2x/ hour) that go via Lake Yamanako, Oshino Hakkai and FujiQ Highland to Kawaguchiko. http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e6908.htmlDepending how much you plan to travel within the area and whether you are coming from/returning to Tokyo, perhaps the Fuji Hakone Free bus would pay off for you. http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2358_014.html

I am guessing that you will not find a direct route (via Gotemba) - but rather will need to go thru Tokyo. So Hakone by bus to Odawara, then train to Shinjuku, then train to Kawaguchiko. Yamanakako has no train, so bus or rental car from Kawaguchiko.
