hello i am hony from indonesia.
i plan to go to aomori on 23 oct from tokyo for 1 day trip. i have some question :
1. is it possible to visit nakano mt/shrine and higashi park/castle in 1 day?
2. which one should be visited first?, since i want to see the illumination leaves (after sunset, which is held at both venue) but also need to catch last shinkansen to tokyo at 7.44 pm

Those should be Nakano Momijiyama and Higashi Koen in Kuroishi-city in Aomori Prefecture.

7 hours sightseeing with 10 hr transportation could be possible, if you dare to.
Tokyo 6:32-11:29 Kuroishi 18:20-23:04 Tokyo

Nakano Momijiyama is 10km east of JR Kuroishi

Higashi Koen (East park) is 3km east of JR Kuroishi

I could not find shrine and castle information for those.

You need to count in the bus travel time from Nakano-momijiyama to Kuroishi station, and Kuroishi to Shin-Aomori. I was there on early November last year. The sunset starts around 4:15pm and the place was already very dark at 5pm. The last bus, if I remember correctly, will come between the stretch of 5-5:30pm. It's still possible to catch the shinkansen at 7:44pm at Shin-Aomori.

Please bear in mind that Nakano-momijiyama is located at fairly remote area where minimum to no English is spoken, even at Kuroishi. Outside Kuroishi station, there's an information center where you can get the bus schedule, and purchase the ticket from the Konan bus office next door.

Here is the status graph for Nakano Momijiyama in Kuroishi. Around 80% would be expected on 23 Oct.

Some information from the other tags in Japanese: Nakano Jinja/Shirine is one of the three Tsugaru Fudosons. There is also Fudokan Castle Ruin. Light Up: From Sunset to 21:00, 13 Oct - 6 Nov. Popularity: 100,000 visitors. From Konan Railways Kuroishi station, take a Konan Bus to Ohkawara. After 25min ride, the bus stops at Kanano Jinja Mae. 5 min walk to the site.

Timetable for Konan bus/Aomori-Kuroishi: http://www.konanbus.com/1411.html
On 23 Oct, you need to follow
Tokyo/6:32-(Shinkansen)-9:50/Shin Aomori/10:20-(Konan bus)-11:15/Kuroishi
Kuroishi/18:20-(Konan bus)-19:06/Shin Aomori/19:44-(Shinkansen)-23:04/Tokyo

Timetable for Konan bus/Kuroishi-Ohkawara: http://www.konanbus.com/1407.html
No good services..., such as
Kuroishi/17:05-(Konan bus)-17:45/Ohkawara/18:10-(Konan bus)-18:50/Kuroishi
More buses could be possible in the koyo period, but you might think of taxis.

Another option would be 5000 yen night buses between Ueno, Tokyo, Shinjuku and Hirosaki. Konan railways run between Hirosaki and Kuroishi.

There are another momiji festival held at Hirosaki castle from 21 Oct.
