How to spend 4 days in Yaeyama Islands

Hello,
Hoping to get some advice on traveling to the Yaeyama Islands. We are arriving in Ishigaki on Oct 31st at 4:00pm and leaving on Nov 4th at Noon (4 nights/3days). We would like to rent a car and drive around Ishigaki (perhaps 1 full day) and we would also like to spend some time in Iriomote (kayaking through Mangroves to the waterfall). Other then that we are open to suggestions.
I would like some advice on how to split the nights between Ishigaki and Iriomote.
