Yokohama to Hakone & Mt. Fuji

Hi,
Is it possible to travel from Yokohama to Hakone and Mt. Fuji in a day? I noticed most of the threads suggest Tokyo - Hakone instead. What is the best option to travel to Hakone? Below is my plan:
Day 1 - explore Yokohama and stay the night in Yokohama
Day 2 - side trip to Kamakura from Yokohama, spend 2nd night in Yokohama
Day 3 - side trip to Hakone & Mt. Fuji from Yokohama, return to Tokyo
Please advise. Appreciate lots! :)

I don't see why not. You are somewhat a little closer to Hakone/Fuji. But still it will be a rush for one day.
