Travel to Hokkaido 12 days in November 2016

I plan to travel to Hokkaido with my family including 2 children age 14 & 19 of 4 persons. Will the following itinerary be recommended for renting a car? Thank you
1. Day 1 is gone due to travelling time
Day 2: 21/11 New Chitose Airport – Noboribetsu
2. Day 3: 22/11 Noboribetsu - Lake Toya
3. Day 4, 5: 23, 24/11 Lake Toya - Hakodate
4. Day 5, 6 : 25, 26/11 Hakodate - Otaru
5. Day 7: 27/11 Otaru – Sapporo to Asahikawa
6. Day 8: 28/11 Asahikawa - Biei - Furano
7. Day 9-11: 29/11-1/12 Sapporo (Morning flight)
