We will trip to shirakawago april 29, 2017.

We will buy Shoryudo Pass 3days.

We come from Alpen route (1 way from Nagano side to Toyama at evening maybe arround 6pm).

So we start for Shoryudo Pass from Toyama.

April 28, we arrive in Toyama around 6pm to Kanazawa. (1 night at Kanazawa)

April 29, shirakawago - Takayama - Nagoya (we bring 2 big luggage).

I have some question and need advise about=

1. On april 28, Toyama to Kanazawa, can i get the bus without reservation? Bcoz i just arrive from Alpen route and have to go to Kanazawa, bcoz we take a hotel there.

2. How can i reserve a seat for tomorrow(bus to Shirakawago) bcoz we arrive in Kanazawa evening (+/- 7 pm) ticket window closed ? Can i reserve via online?

3.this is period of golden week.

Is it possible and worth for us to take Shoryudo pass or not? Is it very full and traffic jam? How about delay, how long approximately the delay for golden week?

4. Shirakawago- Takayama- Nagoya

We bring 2 luggage (28 inch suitcase)

Is it possible for golden week period?

Thanks

Basically, answers can be found in Meitetsu's website as accessed online. Japan Guide http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2357_shoryudo.html has answers to some of your questions as well.

1 and 2 can be found here http://www.meitetsu.co.jp/eng/ticket-info/pdf/eng201509_1.pdf as well as in Japan Guide link. Explicitly indicated that reservation can only be made at ticket window. That's effective as well for different bus operators.

Voucher exchange place and ticket counter operation hours is indicated here http://www.mwt.co.jp/shoryudo/map.pdf.

3 can be found here http://www.meitetsu.co.jp/eng/ticket-info/pdf/Timetable01.pdf. If you cannot find the answer, perhaps on March 1, 2017 they will have to revise or update the sheet again.

4, better to ask your bus operator. Since you are going from Kanazawa-Shirakawago-Takayama-Nagoya, then that's Nohi Bus. If it does not fit in the trunk of the bus, avail takuhaibin.

If you want to find out more, you can put a query in search box here in Japan Guide Forum hoping it will satisfy your curiosity. I just thought that may be someone has posted a similar query before this.

is there any provision of reservation can make many days before?

do you know, can I make a reservation for kanazawa to Shirakawago route in Toyama ticket office? this is because the time is not possible if I made a reservation at kanazawa (too late, already closed, approximately i will arrive at Kanazawa 7 pm.

Thanks

You can email the Shirakawa-go Tourist Association: info-e@shirakawa-go.gr.jp.

If you give them your name, the date and the time of the bus you want to take from Kanazawa, and the number of passengers, they will make the booking for you and email you the booking details.

Take your email to the ticket window in the morning at Kanazawa to pay for and pick up your tickets to Shirakawa-go.

Firas also previously posted that tickets can also be booked online. http://www.j-bus.co.jp/web/asp/hnsent5.asp?mode=1&id=21&id2=19

To OP, tt was also mentioned by Nohi Bus that you cannot be able to reserve thru Japan Bus Online. Thus they advise you to call them for reservation. Look for their number on their website.

The link for reservation as mentioned by Ausfam and Firas is absolutely helpful. That was also the link Nohi Bus used to put in their timetable but was eventually removed due to their revisions. Use that link.
