We will be in Japan for 7 days from 22nd to 29th Dec. Our plan is to travel from Chitose to Noboribetsu and stay for 2 days, then from Noboribetsu to Hakodate for two day and lastly from Hakodate to Sapporo for 3 days.
Can anyone let us know if it would be cheaper to buy 7 days Hokaido rail pass or individual tickets?

Go for Individual tickets!
Chitose to Noboribetsu \ 3,100 If you are staying in an onsen ryokan, worth checking if they have free pick up from the airport.
from Noboribetsu to Hakodate \ 6,890 Hakodate to Sapporo \ 8,830
Hokaido 7 days pass \ 24,000

Chitose to Noboribetsu Alternatively instead of train 3100‰~, bus would be more convenient and cheaper: By bus: Donan Bus operates one round trip per day between New Chitose Airport and Noboribetsu Onsen. The one way trip takes about one hour and costs 1370 yen. Alternatively, you can take a more frequently departing highway bus bound for Muroran and get off at Noboribetsu bus stop along the expressway, from where a shuttle bus brings you to the onsen town center. The one way fare is also 1370 yen. http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e6753.html?aFROM=6750_chitose
