I am visiting Naha for the first time. I practice Karate. Is there a Karate dojo/museum in Naha that I can visit ? I am interested in the history, artefacts, souvenirs as I won't have time to do training while in Naha. Thank you

There is a dojo and museum run by sensei Hokama in Nishihara,on the outskirts of Naha, accessible by public bus. http://www.tetsuhirohokama.netThe information office in Naha airport will be able to explain how to get there. Otherwise, the Dojo Bar in central Naha is your best source of any karate-related info.

Jundokan is one of the more famous Karate dojos in Okinawa especially in Goju-ryu circles.
