Ski resort near Lake Akan that already open

Hi I was planning to SKI during my stay at Lake Akan from 15th -18th Dec. However Akankohan Ski resort will not be open until 25th Dec. Is there SKi resort near Lake Akan already open on the 16th Dec ? I have fine with small scale Ski resort ( i just need a slope) . I noted that Kitami Wakamatsu Shimin Ski resort which is 1 hr drive from Lake Akan is open already on the 3rd Dec from their website. I can't read Japanese.
