Shops open in Osaka over New Years?

Hi Everyone,
Myself and my partner will be in Osaka over New Years from the 30th Dec 2016 till we get the train to Kanazawa on the 5th of Jan 2017 and just have a few questions about openings....
Will shops be open at all during this time and if so when will they be closed/open?
- Shops like 7/11 and Lawson?
- Big shoppping chains right in the city in Namba/Shinsaibashi like Uniqlo, Zara or department stores?
- Little family run shops?
Will attractions be open, if so when will they be closed/open?
- Kuromon Market?
- Food restaurants in Dotonburi?
- Shin Umeda Obversatory Floating Gardens?
Also any other general advice for travelling around this time on New Years?
