Ine-Kyoto ryokan by the Sea

Hello everyone.
I recently read how Ine-Cho was described as the "Venice of Japan" and saw beautiful houses along the beach against the sea of Japan.
May i ask if any of such houses against the sea, ryokans? Would love to stay there in April. I tried japaneseguesthouses.com but to no avail. Tripadvisors listed a few accomodation but seem rather vague.
Your recommendations would be most appreciated.
