Yudanaka Onsen and Snow Monkey Park

I read in this website that there is a seasonal bus going from kasutsu onsen to yudanaka onsen. I was thinking about staying at yudanaka and then moving the next day to kusatsu.
Is this service available in mid april? how can i verify this?
Is the monkey park open in april? i mostly see remarks about it being open in winter time...
