Hi, I would like to check on how should we drive from Takayama to Shirakawa go illumination event. Anyone know of any English driver guide who can drive us up with our rented car instead? By taxi is too expensive so we are thinking will an experience driver guide who can help us for that few hours be cheaper? Otherwise is it possible to drive there by ourselves? What are the other option we can explore since bus tour tickets are already sold out? Thought that it says 1 month in advance to make phone reservation and I did exactly one month in advance but totally shocked to hear that it's sold out despite the earlier dates still available but we are still not there yet so it's not an option for us to take the earlier dates.
