If i want to go to Hakone or Gotemba can i use JR Tokyo wide area/JR kanto area?Thanks

Not covered all.
See the pass web again with opening Google or local access maps.

Covered until Odawara(JR East's)
Not JR Central(Tokaido shinkansen track) and Odakyu's.

You can go as far as Odawara (not by shinkansen). From there you can get a Hakone Free Pass or pay the rest of the way.

It is a 90 minute journey using a JR rapid/local service. Go for watching the world go past with big windows and slower speeds.

As above, get the 4000 yen Hakone free pass as suggested.

If you plan to go there, do the loop and return to Tokyo. Just depart in the morning early enough to get there.
