How long does it takes time to coe?

Hi all,
Actually,My hubby is working in Japan ibaraki since 5 years. I got pregnant and I was back to my home country(India) for delivery on may 8 2016. I was delivered my baby on Aug 31 2016. Then my hubby applied for dependent visa for the 4 month baby on Nov 31 2016. Already we have crossed 45 days still we couldn't receive the certificate of eligibility.Please reply on my note.thank you in anticipation.

Nobody knows how long it will take; just wait.

Thank you for your reply. I got my baby visa on 18 Jan. It takes hardly 48 days..

Eaom, what type of COE have you applied for?

I'm waiting for my work COE (engineer) since November. It's been more than 3 months.

My hubby applied for my baby as dependent visa.

I applied last November...... still waiting

If your baby is born out of Japan, the COE can take a while. The Japanese are very strict in this regards, they ask for everything (short of a DNA result) to determine the dependency of the new born.
This is the reason me and my wife (both foreigners) decided to have our baby born in Japan. It's a lot easier that way. But I hope you get your COE soon.

3 months and 3 weeks and still waiting for my work COE.

On the thread below, a girl from London waited for almost 4 months for her work COE.
