Buying JAL tickets after 26th March

Hi,
Noticed trying to buy tickets for JAL domestic flights after 26th of March that they wont be released until 26th of January. Seems you can buy but the fare is much higher than usual.Will it perhaps go down again when the tickets are released?

Do you mean the specially priced domestic tickets for foreign tourists? If so, I already bought a ticket for May from Osaka to Hakodate......

No sorry, it is for those not included in that special price, like JAL Commuter etc...

Two months is typical. As to prices, nobody knows, but the price of oil has a strong influence on them. Nobody is predicting any such sudden shifts currently though.

Well the current one way fare (Shitoku?) is 9700 JPY as far as I remember, but when trying to reserve a flight on the same sector from 26th of March, the fare is +7000 JPY


I am in a pinch of whether I should return on 25th or 26th of March, since I couldn't afford the very much higher fare...

The current purchase deadline is set to 23rd of January, and tickets released at 26th... so well I could just book a single flight but then I don't know if the fare is the same on 26th March and raises at 25th during the days from where the deadline is and the release...

Peach air has flight to Matsuyama, Shikoku from Osaka.
If you are flying from Tokyo with a stop over on Osaka, the fares would still be cheaper than JAL.

I am not actually flying from Tokyo or Osaka, Kagoshima to Yakushima. Only JAC flies there sorry...

Just have a quick look, seems you still can get discount fares for the 26th of March.

Wow, the Japanese page looks a lot more informative when searching than the English one. I wonder why only the one-way fare will pop up on the English fare table...

Can't say that would help the OP, the fares are only for disabled passengers, caregivers and shareholders.
