Viewing Cherry Blossom in March? 2017/1/23 06:29
Hi all,

I'll be in Japan in March between 12Th. thru 19TH.
Is there a possibilities to see Cherry Blossom in full bloom?
If so Where?

There will be early-blooming varieties in small numbers. Tokyo's Shinjuku Gyoen is a good destination for them. But it will be unlikely that the "mainstream cherries" will already be in full bloom. It would have to be a record-breaking, early year. If so, candidate sites would be Miyazaki, Kumamoto, Fukuoka, Kochi, Shizuoka and Tokyo.
