What if I forgot to put stamp in an airmail?

Couple weeks ago I sent lots of postcards directly from the post office counter (not via the orange post box). I used the airmail service, and the target address was outside Japan (international airmail). The clerk said that the cost of airmail is 70yen and that's it, she does not mention that I need to put stamp in the postcard (provided that she already look at my postcard).
I also not put any returning address (my address) in my postcard. I only write the target address.
So, what will happen? Are the postcards will still be delivered or do I have to re-send the postcard?
Thank you for your kind answer.

Are you saying you did not pay when you sent them out?

While you have paid the postage, she will put stamps on the card for you and will be ships for overseas.
