Visit onsen ryokan if not staying the night?

Hey everyone!
I’ll be sleeping at Minshuku Benibana (民宿紅花) in Nanyo, Yamagata for a night. Across the road there is a very good looking ryokan + onsen called Takinami (いきかえりの宿瀧波). I’m wondering if I can use the onsen at Takinami even if I’m not sleeping there (for a fee of course)? I don't know if it has a "guests only" policy.
Thank you.

Each ryokan has its own policy regarding day-visits. The Takinami seems to open its bath to non-staying guests for 1000 yen. The hours I was able to find on one website were 10:00 to 14:30 (entry until 14:00).
But note that the Takinami will be closed for renovations until June 10, 2017.
