Shiroyama park early hours

Hello. I will be visiting Kagoshima in May. I want to go to Shiroyama Park, early in the morning, before sunrise and take a time-lapse video of the sun rising behind Sakurajima. Please, let me know if I can get to a viewing point early, around 5:00am. I would take a taxi there, money is no problem. I just want to know if the viewing platform is open that early. Thanks.

Yes, the platform is open 24 hours. You can drive or walk there:
