Lake Toya, bus from Toyako

Hi all, I've checked the easiest route to get to Lake Toya from chitose airport is to go to Toya station and travel to toyoko, then by bus (1bus/hour). I'll be staying one night at noboribetsu, and second day when I'm on the way to hakodate by train, I plan to visit lake Toya
Can I ask if the buses operates on 25 March? It is in the weekend.
