Nokogiriyama and German Village Illumination

Hi everyone,
I am planning my trip to Japan next November. I saw the fantastic views of the Nokogiriyama and I also found out that during november the German village has a spectacular illumination event. I would love to see both. Is it possible in 1 day? What transportation to use? and from where is the best way to plan, Yokohama or Tokyo?
Thanks ^_^

Yes, you could do both in a day. Climbing Nokogiriyama, and back down takes about 2 hours if you linger a bit for photos. The drive distance to the German Village would be about an hour, maybe slightly less. Use of a rental car would be easiest.
There was an earlier question on the German Village - so use the search function - as I recall full information was provided there.
