Good book Japanese society, health system etc 2017/2/23 11:21
Hello there,
I am really interested into the deeper knowledge of the political system, health insurance, structure of society and other themes like this.
I look for a book concerning these themes but I didn't really find one.
It should be English or German.
If it is English it should be readable for a not English native speaker.

Thank you so mich.

The Complete Guide to Japanese Systems is comprehensive, dual language, and cheap; it might be the sort of thing you're looking for.

Read Japan times, wikipedia,Google Scholar and watch NHK world.
But you should study Japanese A to Z if really need.
Online dictionary web also a lot already make you help.
Also hand writing and text scan translater apps, too.

Oops, forgot "4chan.org".

It does have at least a couple of pages on tax. I should say that the book is very broad, aiming to give a short, illustrated explanation of every facet of life in Japan. But as your question was similarly broad, I do think you might find it an enjoyable reference tool.

Well the only copyright my copy has is 2012, so it may have been through some updates. In any case, informative and accessible books on Japan in English are rather hard to come by in my experience. If you've suggestions that fulfill the OPs requirements please post them up; I'd very much like to read them myself.
