Osaka Amazing Pass 2016 validity

We'll be visiting Osaka in April 2017 and Osaka Amazing Pass - 2 days looks like a good deal.

From the pass presentation page:
Released: Apr 1, 2016 – Mar 31, 2017
Valid: Consecutive two days of your choice between Apr 1, 2016 – Apr 30, 2017

We will arrive in Osaka on April 1st. So my question is: should we be able to buy it on April 1st, since its end release day is March 31?

Tried to find a Tourist Center/Bureau to ask this question, but couldn't find an e-mail address, just phone numbers.

The start of April is the new timetable/year for Japanese transport. So a lot of passes are valid until March 31. Normally the pass offered pass this date, so the advertisements have new validity dates. You just need to wait until a little closer to April.
