Best way from Inari to Kiyomizu or Kinkakuji?

I'm doing our itinerary to Kyoto and I'm having a hard time deciding whether it's nearer to start from Inari to Kiyomizu or Inari to Kinkakuji
Here's how it looks like:
Fushimi Inari Kiyomizudera Higashiyama Yazaka Pagoda/Hokani-ji Temple Gion
or should I do this?
Inari Kinkakuji Ryoanji Ninnaji Arashiyama Arashiyama Kimono Forest
Please help on where to best put Inari on the itinerary. Thanks!

Have a look at a map. Fushimi Inari is much closer to Kiyomizudera.l

First option looks best. Eight minutes on the JR Nara line to Inari station (easily missed; heads up). Then return on JR Nara to Kyoto station and grab bus 100 or 206 to Higashiyama, Gion, etc. (East Kyoto).

This afternoon I visited Inari shrine and then Kiyomizudera. The train between Inari and Kiyo seemed like a sensible non-back-tracking option IMO. (I was interested to see the work being done on the main hall ahead of my visits in March and April.)

You can easily take the Keihan main line from Fushimi-Inari Stn to Kiyomizu-Gojo Stn. From there it's about a 15 minute walk east to Kiyomizu.
