any place to see crafting of teapots? 2017/2/25 18:12
I wonder if there is anywhere we can visit in Japan to see the way the Japanese teapots are made? And to buy probably, but we are really interested to see the crafting of them
thanks

Try govoyagin.com,

Even if they don't have a tour they can sometimes organise one.

We visited IWACHU in Morioka and bought our teapot there; the casting and crafting of the wooden forms is all visible. What I particularly liked were the different design teapots that you don't see in the department stores here.

Forgot to add: IWACHU was easily accessible by bus from the train station and the Tourist Information stand at the station made it easy :-)
