Taxis at Towadako Bus Stop

We'll taking the JR Bus from Aomori Station to Lake Towada in mid-October. We will be staying a few kilometers away at the Towada Hotel. Are there usually taxis at the Towadako Bus Stop?
I know there are several viewpoints along the lake. Is it worthwhile to hire a taxi to take us around the lake?
