Hakone and mt fuji

If we buy the Fuji Hakone pass which can be used for three consecutive days, can we go to hakone on day one and get back to Tokyo and next day go to mt fuji area and get back to Tokyo in the evening as I have read Hakone and mt Fuji can not be done in one day.

We will have J R pass as well.

Pls advise.

the fuji hakone pass allows 2 or 3 days of free travel and one train to shinjuku to hakone, and one bus kawaguchi to shinjuku.

so if you wanna travel back to tokyo each day, you need to pay for an extra round trip.

if you have jr passes. then use them to get to odawara and get the 4000 yen hakone free pass. and get to ostuki and get the 3550 yen fujiku/bus pass.
