Railpass for my itinerary

Hi.i will be going to japan thru nagoya and exiting at kansai.i plan to stay for 2-3 days in nagoya then go to osaka.osaka will be my base for 5 days and from there i would like to visit nara ,kyoto and some neighboring prefectures.which rail pass would be most practical for me?thanks

It will depend on your itinerary when in Nagoya and Osaka. Is your stay and tour in Nagoya within the city only? Nagoya has local pass. You can pay for individual ticket via JR local/shinkansen train, non-JR train (Kintetsu) or (highway or overnight) bus from Nagoya to Osaka. Thanks.but is there a pass that would be practical for us for our trip to osaka from nagoya and our trips to kyoto.,nara, ko e from Osaka since osaka will be our base.
