Strawberry farm nearby Ashikaga Flower Park 2017/3/5 15:05
Hi.

Planning to go for strawberry farm after seeing the wisteria flowers in Ashikaga Flower Park in mid April.
Are there any strawberry farm nearby or like a few train stations away? Preferably those that are easy to access via train/on foot.

The two farms listed below are located in Tochigi Prefecture along the JR Ryomo Line, though not just near stations, allowing visitors to pick strawberries.

Neither of the two farms seems to have its website written in English.
Hopefully the staff of your hotel in Japan may help you to book your strawberry picking on the phone.

Trains are only very infrequently available on the JR Ryomo Line, like one train per hour.
Please check the timetable for Oyama-bound trains at Tomita Station when you arrive there.
