When is the Kurobe Gorge season opening 2017

We are traveling in the Toyama area in mid-April, and would like to experience the Kurobe Gorge railway. On this homepage it says it opens mid-April, whereas on the Kurobo Railway homepage only a timeplan for 2016 is shown starting 1st of May.
