Is it Okay to wear Patriotic Jacket in Japan? 2017/3/8 15:26
It'll be my first visit to Japan and I have purchased a leather jacket that has the symbol of Japan's flag on it. I want to know that it won't be a trouble for me there wearing the jacket right?

This is the jacket link. Hope they will allow publishing it.

You'll stand out and look a bit goofy, but no one is going to give you trouble for wearing it.

Nobody may notice.
BC no big "JAPAN" logo just look "red circle"decoration.

But that price looks expensive.

That jacket doesn't look patriotic at all. It looks like nothing but a uniform of a sport team representing Japan. I'm sure some people will ask you what team you belong to, but I don't think they'll see you as a right-winger even if you're Asian. I don't think it looks goofy either. It's quite a sophisticated design. (In fact, it's much more sophisticated than many of the Olympic uniforms our country has had in the past!)

But I'm only talking about the jacket. I don't know how you're going to style yourself with it.
