Hi everyone! Can I learn Japanese vocabulary and words from songs))) I always forget the words I memorize. I think memorizing words from songs is a lot easier than memorizing them from lists. Are the words used in songs common in daily conversations or do they sound weird or something? because I heard someone saying not to learn Japanese from songs. Thank you so much.

I learned SO MUCH of my vocabulary from songs. In general, if you learn something through a medium you like, it's going to be easier for it to stick. Just remember that (just like in any other language) the Japanese used in song lyrics can be a bit fancy and not used in everyday conversation, so you'll have to supplement this with other tools or research a bit about the words. But otherwise, it's a great idea - go for it!
