Tour from Tempozan Terminal in Osaka to Kyoto

We will be at Tempozan Passenger Terminal at Osaka on April 13 at about 900am. Would like to have a day trip to Kyoto. Can we join a tour that will pick us up at the terminal, take us to tour Kyoto and drop us off at the end of the day. We have 10 hours to spend. Or should we take the train from Tempozan to Kyoto, then join the tour, and take the train back to Osaka? Thank you for any info.
