Minami-Senju to Asakusa bike route?

Hi there...
I will be staying in Kangaroo Hotel tom. for 1 week...wanted to blend with the locals while touring Tokyo.
Based on the google map Asakusa and Ueno are less than an hour if I go for a walk...is this accurate? If i rent a bicycle would this be normal and will easily find bicycle lane?
Also, what are the other places I can use my bike while touring Tokyo if I am staying in the said hotel?
I have toured Kyoto by bike and I was the happiest!!! :)

Is there a bike route? I also wanted to know???? ThoughI'll be staying in Accela.
