The simple answer is no. It does not run on this route.

For more info on what train sets run on what routes try www dot jprail dot com. This is a very informative web site run by a Japanese guy who is always trying to improve it and keep it current.

E5s are only used by JR East and JR Hokkaido and only run north of Tokyo as far as Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto. The route to Kyoto is operated by JR Tokai (Central) N700 trains and those don't have Gran Class seating.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E5_Series_Shinkansen
Operator(s) : JR East
Line(s) served : Tohoku Shinkansen, Hokkaido Shinkansen

Operator(s) : JR Hokkaido

Kyoto Shinkansen track maneged by JR-Central(Tokai in Japanese),
they haven't E5/H5 also no E6,E7 and W7 sesies.

"E" is short of "JR-East", W is "JR-West".

And JR-Central is the most "rich" Railway company in Japan,
they are no interested in "GranClass" service.
They also hasn't special designed excursion train (calling "cruise train")
like Nanatsuboshi,Skishima(soon),Mizukaze(soon) and more.

So they are not in trouble with money now.
