I'm looking for advice and feedback from people that had a one night stay. My budget is about 15 000 yens/night. Some reviews got me puzzled and undecided about my final choice. Is the price really worth the experience ?
Thank you.

You usually get 2 meals included. It's worth it. The morning prayer service is very special.

We stayed in Fukuchiin for one night and very much enjoyed it. Staff spoke very good English, if that affects your decision. From what I can tell, most of the other temples offer very similar experiences. The food at all the temples is 100% vegetarian and definitely an acquired taste, so bring some food with you (or buy in town - there's a grocery store) if you're concerned you may not like it. I think we paid 17,000 yen/person in mid-March of this year and felt the price was worth the very unique experience.
