Himeji Castle Free English Guide 2017/5/2 09:42
I have found that there are several groups offering free tours of Himeji Castle: 1. Volunteer Guide Association of Himeji Castle, 2. Himeji Castle English Speaking Guide Group, and 3. Himeji Tour Kashinoki. The first one seems to be the organization where there are people at the castle entrance, while the others seem to be organizations where you need to make a reservation in advance. I want to take a tour of Himeji Castle so could someone tell me if any organization is better than the others. Also, I plan to go to the Castle on June 27 (Tuesday), so should I take my chance to find an available tour guide when I arrive at the Castle, or should I reserve a guide in advance? Thanks.

Anyone who have experienced more than one guide?

The "6.2017 Congestion forecast" says "No waiting time".

So, a guide from the Volunteer Guide Association of Himeji Castle would be available soon.

Otherwise, make an arrangement with the Himeji Castle English Speaking Guide Group,

or the Himeji Goodwill Guide Kashinoki-kai.
