Shirakawa-go Nohi Bus Reservation

Hi everyone,

I have bought a Takayama-Hokuriku Pass and am intending to travel to Shirakawa-go from Nagoya enroute to Toyama.

I understand that buses at certain timings require reservation (by phone if I am not wrong?). The problem is I don't speak Japanese.

Can I buy a ticket on the day itself? I am just worried that there would not be any seats available. Anyone has any experience regarding this?
